Collectormania 4

This event was held in Milton Keynes UK between 3rd and 6th October 2003

I was very lucky to be there I met a great many LOTR actors and went to both the Fellowship and Two Towers screenings which had talks before them.

Saturday

I got up up at 5am and got my stuff together Jane came round and we set off at about 6.30 and got down to Milton Keynes for 9.30. Now Jane is not a big LOTR fan but she really wanted to go down to see what all the fuss was about. She likes Legolas and Orlando a bit and loves watching the films with me but that is about it. I think she put up with me very well. I met up with Claire (vertical flower) and saw Pastie and an few others hanging about.

Meeting Christian

I am an Harry Potter fan yes LOTR fan can be Harry Potter fan. So the first person I went to see was Christian Coulson he plays Tom Riddle in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. He was very nice and I gave my pressie to him of an rose in an frame and an birthday card. I also got an hug and an kiss. He was very sweet then it was time to go see the guy who played Amercain Werewolf as I have no idea who he is really but it was Jane's Husband and friend we were going for. Then hung about for an bit and shopped I just had to get an Depp poster.

Loons

Went for loon met up at 12.30 while my friend Jane went to met up with Nicky another friend. Had an nice chat with the loons then we went for something to eat. It was really nice to met them all. Then went back for more shopping or looking more like.

Then on to get dressed up I had got an phone call from my friend. This meant I had to get dressed into my ring waith outfit in front of everyone. This was very very weird but we had fun being interviewed which was cool.

I then went and met up with Brent who plays the Witch King and he loved the outfit. Then to the long costume wait. Man was that an pain in the ass. Final judging happened and I knew would not win but it was fun anyway.

It was cool Jackie and her sister won. At this time Pauline Lynda and Becca came so staight after that we went to Cineworld went for Loony met up same people were there. The onto the fellowship screening everyone had been let in already. So we got quite a good seat with an nice view. It was really hyper we were singing and chatting etc.

The best bit was the fact we did not know who was going to walk though the door but then it was Elijah and Sean I nearly died I won't go into the talk as it was far too long and lots of people have more detailed reports on that up. We watched the whole film you have to with the Fellowship it's and big screen movie. I loved it all.

Sunday

Ok so I was very very tired I got to bed at about 1am so I'm up at 6am it had been decided the night before that Pauline and I were leaving early and that Lynda and Becca where coming later.

We got there at about 7.30am lots of people there already our friends had been there since 6.30 and some others since like 12 or something silly like that.
The queue was getting longer and longer so they let us in and we all went to queue for Elijah then went to Sean's queue then the Andy's then back to Dom's. It was madness people running everywhere to make sure they got the tickets.
People complained that there were no tickets left but the queue was massive and everyone got there early you can't expect to get to met people turning up 10 mins before the place opens.

Meeting Elijah

We had like ticket 30 for Elijah so we went and saw him first He laughed at Sarah when he saw her and called her shaft Frodo it was funny.

I was one of the lucky ones to get an personalist autography and pic with him I also asked and got an hug didn't have the guts to ask for an kiss. It was kind of all blurry when I met him I smiled said hi and put my poster out for him to sign I gave him the Rose in the Frame and the postcard and he was like oh that's sweet. I then said I wanted to ask him something he leaned forward I nearly fainted. (I'll transcript my video when I get the chance just basic at the mom) We have been talking on bb.net and I just wanted your input on this. We were wonder what Billy Smelt like he was like That's an very good question I think Dom would know more. Dom what does Billy smell like.I was about to faint right there. Dom said something which i didn't quite get then Elijah said Billy does really bad farts but other than that he smells of roses. Elijah (right click save target as for sound clip) After that I was like so hyper I just could not believe I had the guts to ask.

I think I walked about in an daze for an while before someone reminded me I did in fact have an ticket to go see sean.

Meeting the Astin

Waited in queue for Sean was very nerves I have no idea why but I saw him meeting others and he seemed very nice. I gave him his rose in an frame but totally forgot about the helicopter we had been planning I guess I was just too nerves. He signed my poster and gave me smiles and then I asked him if he was cold as he had his scarf on. Then I asked the nutty question. I explained in detail no idea why that it was an silly question and he said that was ok. I said that people on bb.net had been taking about it and that we needed his input. He looked very thoughtful then said Pot poratair (sorry can't spell) Sean (right save target as). It was so funny as I walked away he said I hope that goes on the net and I was like don't worry it will. Then we had to wait for him to finish signing and he came out and had photo's with us. I asked for an hug just before the photo and I can't really remember it I was that kind of happy. Well I had just met Elijah and Sean they we like so nice and I wanted more hugs.

So then it was time for Andy

Now I had said before that I didn't really want to get another autography of Andy but then I've been getting really into him again and I can't stop looking at some pics of him.So there I was just staring at him. Thinking I wants I have no idea why he's not my type it's just him the way he acts. It's really hard to describe. So I get up to him and hand him the Rose in an frame his face is an total picture I nearly fainted he is like that is so nice it's really sweet thank you. Then he grabs me just there and then and hugs me and then gives me an kiss on the cheek. I was in totally shock I didn't ask for it it just happened. It was so sweet of him I had to sit down afterwards.

I then went to see Dom we were now getting rushed along an lot so I could not get an pic with him or explain the rose in the frame and rubber ducks. I was an bit down about it but knew we would get an chance to see him tomorrow.

Staight after that we went to the screening and waited in line Lynda and Becca were still waiting to see Elijah and Dom.

They came an little later for the talk must have been signing over time the talk was great and Dom was his ever cheeky self and to my surprise Andy wanted to show us his precouis I think he was very surprised at the amount of people ot rather girls that wanted to see it. We were all an little dispointed when he didn't. We didn't watch all the film and so decided we need to get to bed as soon as we could.

Monday

We got to the center at 6.30 we were just lucky they had started to let people in already and we went staight to the Dom queue they didn't give tickets out till 9 so we had an long wait. We decide due to the size of the queue we just did not have time to wait for elijah as well so we went got and ticket for Andy and Sean again then went for an hot drink. We realised that the guys were coming so we headed out to wait by the door that they had used yesterday then we heard shouting. They were on the roof looking down at everyone waving no one knows how long they had been there for so I managed to video it and I think I got like one pic of it that didn't turn out very well. Then we ran back to the bench to wait for them to come in and Elijah was all hyper which was really funny to watch.

We then went to see Dom after a bit we still had an few numbers before us when we got there they had started to stop him standing up for pics and giving hugs. Lynda gave him her insect mug to him and the penguin and he loved it saying to her as he got up and gave her an hug I'm not really meant to be doing this but I'm going to anyway. I gave him his banjo to go with the Penguin and he loved it posing for pics with it that.

I also asked him what Billy smelt like he said Rotten Elderberries. ( right save target as) DomThen I asked for an hug and an picture with him I am very naughty and he said yes and got up the guy got all funny and to my delight Dom said "what you going to do about it." That's kind of why I have an shocked look on my face and I'm trying not to laugh.

Then we went back to see Andy hey we had to give him his traffic cone I didn't manage to get it in the pics but newsround did so I'm going to steal that pic and put it up. Andy was an star again putting up wth like 8 of us chatting to him and yes I did ask him what Billy smelt like I think he said Malborno smokies that's what it sounded like anyway. we still had tickets to see Sean but we had a look round the stalls abit then waited in the queue this bit is abit hazy because I can't quite remember all the stuff that happened from here on. Pauline and I left the queue for good reason we still had tickets so that meant we could in fact go back and see him I won't say why because there are enough rumous going round but it turned out for no reason really. We later went back twice more because we had to give Sean his other helicopter which he thought was fun. Claire gave it to him as I filmed and I asked and got an kiss for her. Pauline and I were meant to be going back in the Car with Lynda but we decided to stay longer I was going to stay at Claire's and Pauline with Marie and her parents at they hotel. The last time we went to see Sean was to get a group picture which I'm not in he was at the end of the day sitting there as people got pics with him you didn't even need an ticket. Sean was an pure pleasure to met and an real surprise. We hung around till he went waving goodbye then went and waited for Elijah and Dom to go. It was kind of sad to see them go but I really felt that I needed to I don't think Elijah will ever do this sort of thing again so I will never get the chance to ask for an kiss but I will remember C4 as the place I met the hobbits and had an great time with my friends.
