Lestat's mother who when dying is given the dark gift by Lestat.
She spent her early life in Italy then marries the Marquis she then has
7 children only 3 surving.
She spends time with Lestat before she goes round the world traveling.
She is reunited with Lestat after the concert in Los Angels. There reunion
is short as Akasha kidnappes Lestat but there are brought together for an
brief time after Akasha's death.
Gabrielle then goes traveling again only to be brought back to Lestat when
he refuses to speak and move after his encounter with Memoch.
Gabrielle is the vampire that spends her time alone she perfers it that
way.
