Marius is the bastard
son of a keltic woamn and a wealthy Roman.
Mortal in the times of the Roman empire he knew Pandora when they were both
mortals. He was a writer and painter and spend most of his time reading
poetry. Marius was a lot older than Pandora but still they had love for
each other. At the age of 40 he was kidnapped by some druid priests. He
was then taken to their god. Who was a Vampire. The Vampire was damaged
burnet as if he had been sat out in the sun.
After Marius is made a Vampire he tells him something bad has happened to
the vampires and he must find out what it is. After Maruis leaves The Good
of the Grove is set on fire by his priests.
Marius hears rumours of some ancient Vampires and goes to look for them.
He finds a burnt vampire who unwital leads he to them.
The are the first blood drinkers they are"Those who must be kept."
The Queen comes to Marius in the night and lets him drink from her. The
keeper Jealous of Marius and trying to get the queen to kill Maruis but
is instead crushed by Askaha.
Maruis moves around the world in order to keep "those who mustbe keep"
a secret.
He then makes Pandora a Vampire and lives with her.
