Killers Manchester Apollo 20th November 2006
Little report got to
venue to 6.50 and went into venue I was dying forthe loo as I came stiaght
from work Jon went to get us some drinks and then came down stair again
to tell me the loo's upsatirs did not have a queue so I raced up and then
down again to get near the front. On dave's side of course about row 6.
The thing I like most about the Killers is the age range of fans it makes
me smile so much.
The Brakes came on and they started out ok but then they got really boring
really fast and to be honest I was a bit disappointed in them as so many
people said they were very good.
I was way too excited when Killers came on stage I found it hard to see
at times but after 3 songs I got myself in a ok place and spent a lot of
time jumping up and down and when Mr Brightside came on I went a little
bit mental.
Brandon's voice was miles better then I had heard on the gigs I have and
I found out today he recently stopped smoking so that could be a reason.
Dave said about 2 words to the crowd well mainly he said stuff at Brandon.
He did he's whole head back show all the neck thing and tongue out I melted
and so played up to the fans using they cameras/phones.
Is it wrong that I got really excisted towards the end of the gig as he
wiped his face with a towel and he looked all sweaty.
Yes it was wrong but I could not help it.
I can't wait to see them again on Saturday I hope to get better pics.
