yellow fever Julian comforts her and then rapes her so fathering Mary Beth.
She returns to Riverbend till her mother dies then goes slightly mad in grieve
and dies without an storm to mark her death.

eyes and hair she looked like she had mixed blood.
Shania is an very strong woman yet beautiful as well she also looks sad as
Katherine was in later life.

Why?
She
is Mexican and so looks of mixed blood although I think maybe to dark. I also
like the fact that I found the photo to the right as Katherine often went
into the French quarter with Julien dressed as an man. I think in the left
hand picture it makes me think of the fact she mourned Dacry so much and wandered
the garden in her night wear.
