Rowan
is a small tree with red berries thought to ward off witchcraft. Rowan was
named by Carlotte Mayfair (her great great aunt) Ellie Mayfair Deirbre's cousin
and her husband Graham Franklin took Rowan away from her mother as soon as
she was born, they became her adoptive parents.
Carlotte's deal with Ellie, Rowan must not be told of her family or aloud
to come back to New Orleans.
Rowan knows nothing of her witch powers as she grows up. She begins to realizes
that she can kill, she can give people heart attacks because she can see the
working's of people's bodies.
She decides to use her powers to heal and becomes an neurosurgeon.
After the death of her adoptive parents Ellie from Cancer and Graham from
congenital aneurysm (caused by her after an row). She becomes lonely and spends
most of her time on her boat The Sweet Christine. This is the point where
she meets Michael Curry she saves him from drowning.
She then falls in love with him when they met again. At this point she finds
out that her mother has died, she goes back to New Orleans and makes contact
with her family at the funeral where she meets Aaron Lighter from The Talamasca.
She reads Aaron's file on the Mayfair Witches and moves into the First Street
house with Michael.
She then becomes pregnant and marries Michael Curry.

The
family are not told of the child then on Christmas eve Lasher infuses with
the child and forces it to be born so emerges an fully grown Lasher.
Rowan and Lasher run off together.

with shoulder length blonde hair grey eyes.
